Circular Sunday rude, via JackHills biker friendly cafe
Nice Cirencester to Bourton-on-the-Water ride from Bike magazine. November 2018
I route I use for some advanced training taking in some rural 50s then pushing onto some really nuice rural nationals. Points of interest along the way:
Avebury - Some lovely bends, a nice pub and some big stones. Well worth going through twice.
Hackpen White Horse, Alton Barnes White Horse and the Uffington White Hourse
Wantage - Couple of nice cafes there for a brew
Great days ride out.
Coffee stops, Headcorn Airport, Dungerness Beach, Spitfire Cafe Hythe, Dover Transport Museum.
Lots of country riding, lots of open roads, something to suit all bikers.
Phil and Liz weekend 2018
Lovely particularly the B660 north of Kimbolton with the road is smooth, flowing with good curves and hills, and is free of potholes.
Really fast roads (depending on how strict you are with double white lines) with lots of variety!! Perfect on an early morning or later evening blast
Mostly B roads to get you working hard. The Wantage to Swindon rd past the Uffington White horse is brilliant
Great little section to break up the A303, the extra distance is well worth the ride, the Three Daggers cafe and pub in Edington are a great place for non service station food and drink.
This is a route I would like to try. Copied from Hirsty via desktop onto App as I could not access via the app Thanks is advance, I take no credit for this route plan
Nice route out of London down to Whiteways biker cafe
I love this route, it is mainly faster roads but with some towns where you can stop for tea and pee breaks. There's also plenty of opportunities to extend the route further if you have the time but still maintain a good round trip - I don't like coming back the same way I left home!
Love
Lots of shops and fuel stations with a mixture of twistes and fast and slow pace riding but there are some parts which will catch you out
A nice road to drive in a convenient location. Lots of attractions. Beautiful vegetation, but not much in the way of views until you get a bit closer to Newbury. A variety of different types of corners. Occasionally you might come across tractors and wild life, but mostly quite safe. No fixed speed cameras. However, a mobile speed camera is often positioned in Leckford during week days. Apart from that there is almost no police presence. Overall a great road to take your other half to for a nice day out.
Good
Banbury to Swindon
Banbury to wales
Good little ride out
Good little ride out
This route takes you from Sandy, Beds up the A1 to Stamford. Then its lovely sweeping roads through Market Harborough, Derby and onto Matlock Bath and a stop for refreshments. Then its off again taking lovely roads across the Peak District past Buxton and to Teggs Nose Country Park on the edge of Macclesfield for another stop for refreshments. Then off again on different lovely road to Buxton for a fuel stop. Then its north to the edge of Glossop on lovely roads, to pick up the Snake Road to do the Snakes Pass. Then a fantastic detour from Ladybower Reservoir going north up to Langsett Reservoir and returning on the same brilliant road. Then its wonderful roads again back to Matlock Bath for another stop to take in the other bikes, refreshments etc. before setting off on the same roads back to Sandy. All in all its about 9 hours of riding so set off early.
Loads of awesome corners with a nice road surface for the majority of the route
