OK. I know youre wondering how youre going to make this ride. Rent a bike, I guess, or join the military and get stationed here. I used to abuse my footpegs about once a week on this infinite hairpin. If you have to have more than two wheels, get a convertible. To get there, turn from Auwiolima St onto Tantalus Drive. As you climb up out of the residential area, you suddenly find yourself in the rainforest and the fragrance makes you believe that there must be more oxygen in the area. At the top, you break out into a causeway were you can see Honolulu to your right and the western end of Oahu on your left. Best ridden at sunset for the most spectacular views. At some vague point, the road turns into Little Round Top Dr, and winds down through bamboo forest abak into the city. this is not a road to be taken in a hurry, and kids and cars will jump out at you at eiher end of the journey.
