Quiet twisty road, sometimes turning into a track but nothing overly difficult with stunning views.
Its all there! Coastal Cliff roads, mountain roads, open country roads. All the hazards from rocks to camel dung! Absolutely loved it...
A long, mostly well surfaced mountain road across the high atlas mountains. Long straight sections and combinations of fun but simple corners in this spectacular part of the world.
I have attached a film clip which I made on my Suzuki DR800 on the way back from a Morocco offroad trip. As I burned the clutch on the bike, and was only able to travel at very low speed, I have speeded the video up for brevity.
The Dades Gorge is one of those true gems in Morocco. Iconic switchback photo done here. Anyone into adventure back country pavement (Moroccan style), this is for you. Leaving Boulmine Dades, up to M'semrir & back can be done in 5~6 hours in & out. Not including photo stops.
From Cedar forests to high plateaus and then gorges and oasis, this road highlights the diversity of Morocco
Great desert and ocean scenery.
Fast and following. Reminded me of the Isle of Man tt course!
Surely one of the most dangerous roads in Morocco? But truly fantastic, great assortment of corners, large buses stacked up with people poking out of the top and completely crazt local drivers travelling faster than you would think possible or safe. Watch out for the people selling oil by the roadside and be aware that kids may throw stones at you as you travel past, but most are just curious. Leaving your bike outside in Marrakech not recommended, enjoy North Africa!
Incredible Geological landscape, Ouarzazate was one of the locations used for the later series of Star Wars movies. Crazy drivers and crazy corners up through the mountains. A bit wild but great, fast trail bike the best choice for this road.
