Ive only ridden the section between 518 and Talpa, but its definitely worth the trip. Good road conditions, especially heading down into Talpa (Taos).
Leaving Las Vegas, this route starts off dull but soon livens up into a nice selection of curves as it winds north into the forest.
Enjoyable winding section heading south.
