We call this little strip Alligator Bayou, or the Tail of the Gator (in tongue-in-cheek homage to the dragon). I ride a 700lbs Raider so the tar snakes are noticeable. Bikers with lighter bikes say they don't feel them. I take riders new to the area down here as well as passengers that haven't been riding before ;) I use this route to connect a run from the BR Governor's Mansion, down river road, to Airline and Hwy 22.
