This route is as much about the scenery as it is the roads. The first half of this route is probably the best (Dunstable Downs-Whipsnade) because of the views but the roads are fairly consistant throughout; twisty with some tricky sections that could catch you out. The speed limit is between 60-30 mph and the road surface is generally good. This is just one of many routes you can make up in this area around the Chilterns.
