A nice Suffolk country road with some good bits and some really good bits. Reasonable surface and most bends are "what you see is what you get" although there are a couple that might catch the unwary as they are a little tighter than they look. Traffic is generally light but do expect the occasional tractor, especially at harvest time.
A lovely run in some nice countryside on the B1117 from the historic town of Eye to Halesworth Suffolk. [20miles]Route via Stradbroke, Laxfield and Heveningham Hall country park with views over the lake, bridge, and parkland.Good road surfaces and nice sweeping twisty bits. National speed limits apart from the few villages you pass through.A quiet route, so not much car traffic to impede you, so you can enjoy the ride.Give it a Go, youll enjoy it and hopefully be grinning :)
